Sattareh Farmanfarmaian was an Iranian author, social worker, and a member of the Qajar nobility. She was born on August 24, 1921, in Tehran, Iran, and came from a prominent family with a royal background. Farmanfarmaian dedicated her life to social work and philanthropy.

She was actively involved in various charitable and humanitarian organizations, working to improve the lives of disadvantaged communities in Iran. Her commitment to social causes extended to her writing as well. Farmanfarmaian authored several books that explored different aspects of Iranian culture, history, and society.
